Icon2 Fuel pump dead?

I have a 96 CX hatch with a Frankenstein swap (b16 head/b20 block) and one day I took my battery out and had the car sitting for a few days....maybe a week or so, and when I put the battery back in, and turned my key on, I only could hear my radiator fan, normally I would be able to hear the fuel pump over the fan....I started the car and it ran for a few seconds then died out..could this just be a situation where no power is getting to my fuel pump or the pump itself has burned out or died? The pump that's currently in the car is a Walbro 255 lph pump..can anyone give any advice/ help me?

fix your fan, it shouldn't be running at all unless you have the a/c on or the radiator is too hot.

walbro pumps are fairly indestructible. if it's not working, it probably just isn't getting any juice

fuse might have blown while reconnecting the battery. otherwise check your main relay and ECU connections, try replacing both to rule them out.
