Default Factory ECU REFLASH

Does anyone know a dealer nationwide that will flash a stock rewritable ecu with a different tune than its factory tune. IE: CRV ----> TSX

No one in the Honda OEM world will have that. Only the aftermarket will support such an endeavor.

Any Aftermarket performance shop that deals with Hondata in your area.

You may need to go to Hondata's Dealer List and make some phone calls. But you would need to purchase Hondata equipment from them in order to do this. The Honda ECUs are not like those from other manufacturers that are able to be adjusted by way of Open Source or some programmable hand module.

This is not something that Hondata can do. Do not call them asking.

Not to "flash" anything, no.. I'm skipping the notion of that being a possibility by ignoring it completely, and going with an aftermarket alternative, which is a Hondata solution.

Why can't he call Hondata? Is their customer service really so bad that they can't field a simple question?

If the ECU that the OP intends to use is a DBW type and Hondata offers a FlashPro for this ECU application, couldn't a Hondata dealer with a Dealer FlashPro system program an alternate basemap in the ECU in question... or even create a custom tune specifically for the OP's engine combination ???
