I have EK hatch with GSR swapped

recently had a cel on, fixed one of the issue, crank sensor position
then still have it on. so i bought a scanner to read

once I plugged in, it does not read
sync error...I have no idea where to begin

Also I have one problem
I've changed my steering wheel to after market ones
Shortly after installed it,
cluster light is not on, and climate too.
now the blinker works but it wont turn off once I turn

help please

 

If ur car is converted to obd1 u cannot read the codes w the code scanner, found this out a long time ago w my old em1, u have to jump a plug on the passenger side by the ecu, i believe its green then count the # of times ur cel blinks. A solid counts as 10, a quick flash counts as 1.

When u change ur steering wheel ur blinkers wont turn on when u turn bc of a sensor in the steering wheel im pretty sure, it lets the car kno when ur wheel turns back to a certain point n clicks the switch off automatically. Ive experienced this in 2 ek's n my current eh3. Nbd unless it rly bothers u that much to do it manually lol. If dash light u mean SRS then its bc u took the air bag out
