i have a "p72-c01" ecu in my 93 civic si, it says modified on it as if the previous owner may have modified it, i have no clue. i have a couple pictures tell me what you think, also there is a connector piece looking thing that looks like something should be plugged in there but theres nothing there
no clue if its modified
small black plug in looking like piece no clue on that either
This ECU has been "chipped" which may be the reason the word "modified" was written on it.
Is there a way to tell what specifically has been added and for which reasons? Also with the black plug in peiece should that stay empty? Just looks like something should plug in there. I'm not to good with Ecus so any help would be appreciated, Thanks in advance.!
The components are irrelevant unless you want to "chip" ECUs on your own. The 4-pin connector is used for datalogging and does not require anything connected to it for daily use.
