just woundering if you need obd1 or 2 to tune a car because my car is obd0 and i cant seem to find anny tuneing programs or chips like neptune for obd0

 

obd1

 

Convert to obd1 using an obd0 to obd1 ecu jumper harness & distributor jumper if you don't feel like messing with your distributor wiring. You will also need an obd1 distributor & obd1 ecu setup for your engine setup with the ems of your choice.

 

i also read that obd0 has a 1 wire o2 sensor but myn is 4 but my motor is out of a 89teg is there anny other ways to tell if its obd1

 

look at the ecu... obd 1 will have 3 connectors..., obd0 has 2

also "BRE" is an editing program for obd0... check pgmfi.org

 

kk thanks i also looked up and my motor is obd1 cuz it sais it will be stamped with p29on the intake and myn is and alsot map sensor is on the tb
