Im building a '99 civic si and i know to run hondata s300 i have to use an obd1 computer..Prolem is i do not know which obd1 computer to get..can i buy a p28 or is there a specific one i have to get to run with my car..the engine is a b16a2..please help im not good with ecus

 

are you installing it?

you know you can likely buy an ecu from a hondata dealer with it already installed. That way when it comes to you, it's already done and has a basemap loaded. All you gotta do it plug it in

unless you want to install it yourself, then dont listen to me

 

would phearable sell those? or a company like them...and what would i do with my odb2 computer jus hold on to it if i decide to ever go back to stock or toss it

 

You can buy a hondata s300 unit pre-installed in a obd1 ecu
You will need an obd2 to obd1 jumper (plug & play harness) aswell.

does it also come with a base tune installed or is it like aem where u have to tune the car to even run? also how easy is it to tune with?
