ecu comparison
You're not tuning Neptune. You're tuning your motor. Neptune is simply an editor / software interface to allow you todo this. The Honda community is spoiled to have something as nice and easy to use as Neptune. We're having to totally rewire, figure out cam/crank pattern/trigger wheels, cam/crank settings, injector timing, coil dwell, etc, etc for two vehicles right now. Only if it was as simple as chip/socket the ecu and tuning!
and since you are from indian head, why not venture over to InlinePro, Ive heard good thing about their tuner Brian Fisher

lol, i know ur tuning the motor, and the thread says im all motor, turbo has to many problems, inline pro is no good, i go to tempest racing
tempest is a great shop as well, joe tuned my car and it runs great. my point is, take it to a professional tuner and get it tuned.
chipped ecu - $150
hondata s300 or neptune - $400-500
tune - $400-500
so your looking at $1000 give or take. unfortunately thats the price to play the game.
if you get a basemap or "pretuned" chip it will just be a ballpark. your car will run but not at its full potential and might even run poorly.
