I recently purchased my 89si with the d16 1,6L... Well i found out yesterday that i habe something called a june chip in the ecu... Does anyone have any idea what that means for me?.. It appears to not have a rev limiter but i know nothing about ecu

that's a legit hardcore tune bro. you lucked out, there is only about 100 JUN ecu's available in the USA and they sell for BIG monies.

That is a good *** tune too for the D16, should net you about 220whp.

the chip is garbage. you can buy them for 3 bucks. they are "tunes." for who the hell knows what.

your car will run better on stock ecu.

They are garbage *** chips from china, programmed on some shitt Eprom writer, the chip costs like 10cents and then the "JUN" "tune" is flashed on it and it is put on your ecu.
