Default Which ECU?

i am running a 97 integra gsr, which is obd2a.... i plan on buying neptune rtp demon

if you look at the ecu options on this site

http://www.xenocron.com/neptunertp-d...new-p-223.html

can i use the obd1 vtec ecu with adapter harness to obd2a? or do i have to use a p72 to match my motor?

The OBD1 VTEC ECU will work just fine, but you'll lose IAB control unless you ask specifically to have that added.

The IAB circuitry can be added fairly easily to most of the OBD1 Civic ECUs. I am sure if you request it when you ordered it can be taken care of for you.

Be sure to mention your engine's year, too, as OBD2 is done differently.

I do them if requested, but I only do OBD1 Style...thus why I made this write-up a while back

Good to know, that's why I asked him to mention just in case.

If you don't use IAB, simply disconnect the vacuum line from the actuator and plug the line so it remains open and have it tuned properly in that configuration. You'll lose some low range torque, but not much. It will still run perfectly.

If you're going to switch intake manifolds you don't need the IAB output anyway, so no worries.

You can add it to P28, and xenocron will as he mentioned. P72 has it from the factory.

Check the link xenocron posted on how to set it up for OBD2.
