The website is ectune.com however it appears to be down.
If you need to purchase ectune, we sell it along with other vendors on the forum.

i'm an ectune user and am very satisfied with it. Its got all the features of the other softwares and and a lot more. what i like about it is that its continually evolving as calvin and the rest of the community comes up with new things....hth

For now, it requires the use of a stand alone ostrich romulator & any datalogging cable device.

The tuner license allows it to be burned as a chip, so you don't have to get an ostrich emulator if you get it tuned by a pro.

The only issue I have (and its a BIG issue IMO) is the timebomb it has. He has it set to you NEED to update it every month, or it locks you out. He also doesn't post the update until a day or two before the lockout. You have to be sure you change your PC dates if you won't be near the internet at that time. A grace period would be VERY welcome, but atm he seems extremely paranoid about bugs - or something else. MS isn't even as bad.

Don't worry about it, you're probably not going to get the tuner version anyways...

The chip doesn't count days. The software is the only thing that expires.

cool. so i compared to neptune. Neptune has a lot more, but the question is: for a boosted GSR dialy driver that might go to the track once a month to race with frineds, is the extra $500 worth it?

I believe he meant $50, since that's the difference in cost between license fees.

planning on gettign it professionally done (whether i go with nepture or ectune) meaning i'll most likely take it to a place that has the Tuner edition and can burn it as a chip (that will save me the liscensing fees for the DIY or pro version, correct?). so maybe $450 is a better number.

No, NepTune isn't $500 or even $400. You must be talking about a tuning package with tuning included. You're paying for tuning as well.

The RTP system is $400. The version which a tuner tunes your vehicle for you using the software is usually $100.
