Who did you buy it from?

What exactly did you buy?
The ectune daemon bundle or just the ectune ostrich software?

You should receive instructions on downloading it & pairing it to your ostrich etc.
You should be contacting who ever you bought it from, not asking on a forum :-)

I think Calvin and the crew are asleep at the wheel right now. I have emailed them a few times with some registration/licensing issues I have been having for a few weeks now and no one is responding.

Great customer service eh! I'm weighing my options and I'm looking into swapping over to Neptune.

I know one of the local tuners in my area that has switched over from eCtune to Neptune. I'll probably chat with him as well.

when I registered for eCtune the first time. (it's been a while)

upon purchasing eCtune, you will receive an automated message from info@eCtune.com (make sure your spam doesn't block it for some strange reason) within that email will contain an attachment, this is your license file.
save it as directed in the email.

open eCtune
connect your ostrich (ostrich does not have to be connected to the ECU)
go to Help-->Registration
Click on Register Online after filling in the info.
(email address is the one you paid with)

you will then get another email with your final registration file.
again save it as directed in the email and you're ready to go.

note: Calvin may have stream lined the registration process since I went through it.
there was a version that changed something about the process a while back, not sure it that was only for the demon or if it changed the ostrich version as well.

BTW- Neptune's registration is easier.

why not make a post on the ectune forum where calvin would actually see your complaint and get back to you quickly instead of hoping that he comes in here to find your problem, he makes frequent posts on ectune forum.

Why bother if he isn't even responding to his email. I think the last time he responded to a post on the eCtune forum was back on June 30th.

I got a response from eCtune/Calvin and have received my renewed license today.

Thank you Calvin.

Now hopefully with the newest version installed on my laptop this won't be a problem any more.

Cheers
