Default E-Manage Ultimate

Anyone used it? I currently have the E-Manage blue, and it sucks ***. I've been doing some reading up on it and it seems like it can do everything that say hondata, crome etc can. I know it's a piggyback, it's just i can get my hands on a E-Manage Ultimate for like half the prize. My goals are only 350 whp...which is about all i'm gonna get out of my little 18g anyways. The biggest drawback with the e-manage was it didn't very well tuning capabilites but it seems like this e-manage ultimate you can fine tune, adjust fuel and air, change timing, launch control, anti lag etc etc.

Why run it when you can run something on a factory ecu that isn't a piggy back ?

I don't know about you but I like the fact that we have plug & play tuning solutions on factory obd1 ecus for hondas!

i'm just looking at prices. getting my ecu chipped with hondata and then get it tuned etc etc i'm looking at 1200 or more. i can get this e-manage ultimate for 250 bucks then just get it tuned so under 1000 for sure. i have the e-manage and it's garbage, because you have to buy a seperate harness and CD just to do the tuning and it doesn't have half the features the ultimate does. this kit i can get for 250 bucks canadian comes with the unit, cd, cord, and adapter harness. i would never even consider the e-manage again, but the ultimate looks like it has most of the options hondata or crome would have.

You could have your car tuned on ectune, neptune or hondata for much less then $1000.

There is a reason why everyone doesn't run emanage....

Not in my city. 200/hour for the dyno. and then hondata is what, 400? then i still need to get my ecu chipped. just 3 hours on the dyno will cost me 600 and that's not including anything else.

Hondata s100 is $195 USD
Tuning should only take 2-3 hours.
