Is dyno tuning just computer tuning or is there some wrench turning as well. I ask because I've never had a dyno tune before.

 

Why don't you ask the shop what comes with their dyno tune? Each shop is different. How would anyone on Honda-Tech know what comes with their package?

And no, I wouldn't pay $450 on a dyno tune for an NA motor if you will be going turbo in a few months. That's when you'll really need the tune. Load a good basemap on that chip and drive it.

 

I stopped into a local shop that does dyno tuning and they told me that when they do a dyno tune that they do a compression test, adjust cams if adjustable, as well as a few other things. Good to know that's it's a little more in depth than just making a couple clicks on a laptop to tune it.
