Does this ecu look ok?
The long one and a few others look weird. I'm wondering if its fried O_O? Its a P75 obd1, and can anyone tell me if that chip on the left, reads SST, is for vtec? I googled it and looks like its a chip for vtec. Just wanna double check on that. vtec crossover on this p75 is at 5.7/5.8k rpm on my gsr swap. With a 2000 si ecu its about the same point too.
My Si ecu throws a code for the o2 sensor. Code 1
So far the p75 doesnt throw any codes.

The SST chip is a reburnable (reprogrammable/erasable) chip that carries the programming for your entire tune. Vtec crossover, disabling or enabling various sensors and codes as well as altering all ignition and fuel events is possible.
Look at Crome management for the most basic beginning understanding of how this works. Crome is a very low end program that started as a DIY project, but yet is still capable enough that a large percentage of Honda guys use it or are running on it. There are better options now available versus several years ago, as is typical with the strength of the Honda aftermarket.
Regardless, if your interested in learning more about these types of things check out Crome to start with. There is a free version you can download and look at to see basically what it controls and how it works. You can also download Hondata S300 to look at what a more developed system functions like.
Check out
www.tunewithcrome.com for Crome download
www.hondata.com for S300 download and view (this system uses additional components you must purchase in order to use on your car). Hondata also has a forum you can read around on.
Then there's forum.pgmfi.org where a lot of guys started and where many DIY management systems were born and developed.
