I have a CRV with 2.2 iCDTi engine. I think its known problem that diesel particle filter requires manual regeneration sometimes. Is anyone found software or tool which support dpf regeneration start manulally ?

I know that its basicly Honda garage think, but some other make of car offer that manual regeneration possible to the 'do-it-yourself man'

I have a OBD-USB adapter but advanced class software missing...
