Default Datalogging TPS Issue

So I have an OBD1 ECU (P28) hooked up with a Neptune RTP Demon Board. Everything is functioning. But I have a question.

The TPS is at "-7" at idle according to my logs. Is that a calibration issue? Do I need to reset my TPS? I have had some minor issues with my idle on cold start, but nothing to write home about. Just the usually bouncing idle that I had attested to a dirty IACV or FITV that I haven't fixed. Could that be the TPS though?

Thanks. I know NepTune has a forum, but it's not very active.

There is a TPS calibration in the preferences tab.

Oh. Okay. I 'knew' that I suppose. I thought my stock TPS could just be out of wack.

Nominal voltage is .45-4.5V for 0-100%, respectively. There is a tolerance in the service manual but I can't remember what it is off the top of my head.

The NepTune forum is checked day in and day out. It's not highly "active" because there's not a lot of issues with the system... posts as recent as 4 days ago. Next time post there or email in for quicker help.

Use IACV duty cycle to adjust your idle. If your TPS is way out of spec think about adjusting it appropriately, but that's not the cause.

Thanks. I know this isn't a NepTune issue. It's just a my car issue. I saw the -7 and thought my TPS could have been poorly adjusted after 25 years. I just wanted to rule out my TPS before I started changing settings.

If there's not an actual issue with the IACV the duty cycle adjustment should be able to clear it up. If you still have issues then try cleaning it out. If it still isn't fixed give a shout back.

Absolutely. I will try and be more active on the NepTune forum. I am sure there is a ton of specific information. I also need to watch the videos again. I am always forgetting short cuts and stuff.

There's a quick keys list in the help menu, too.
