Hey, just the other day I purchased an EF with a z6 swapped into it. The car had what the previous owner described as "stalling issues" (he originally thought this is a fuel flow problem). What happened was, when accelerating, if the gas was pressed too much, the car would sputter and stall out. If the pedal was slammed to the floor, the car wouldn't rev whatsoever, and just die. I bought new plugs and wires for the car, first threw the wires on in the lordco parking lot and didn't notice any incredible difference. I drove home to my tools and put the plugs in, and the issue was entirely ceased. I drove around the rest of the day, and the stalling issue started coming back. It got worse and worse and eventually I was stuck and called a tow truck. Tried to start it before work this morning with no success. Do any of you guys have any ideas?

EDIT: I should also note that my tachometer stopped working around the same time the car started dying. Occasionally it would spike up but for the most part its just stuck @ 0

 

TPS sensor may be out of range.

Distributor may be failing.

 

just put a new distributor in. this swap is messy, and i had to repin the distributor to uae obd0 plugs. this is how the car runs with the new distributor.
