I'm reviving this guy to look at doing this for someone, and not having my research turn up a definitive answer (though I may be thinking too hard about it).

The Crome manual by vegasinvasion suggests that this does work, and to use A16, A17... A20 (somewhere in there).

Here's where my question comes in.

Much like how A11 (or a17 on jdm) is to be used for other programs as well as the PWM chip modification to the ECU, does this same PWM modification need to actually be used if you're using Crome Gold?

In other words, is it necessary to get this:

http://www.xenocron.com/hondata-s300...i7kk15nmr15577

In order to use A20 (for example) output?

It looks like the answer might be yes, as the PWM function allows the ECU itself (regardless of what output) to do the right work to make the solenoid work.

In other words, I'm assuming that the car's ECU needs to have the PWM modification done, whether you're using A11 as in many other softwares, or A20 in Crome Gold.

Or does Crome Gold's "PWM" functionality not need the ECU to be modified?

the bottom line is you'll never get it to be accurate. it's slow and pretty much impossible to tune, because it's slow. I wish I could give you more hope, but there is none.

Edit: I understand.

It won't be accurate as far as boost output, so you're suggesting to not bother.
