Crome datalogging fail Cant
Setup is a chipped p28 I sent to xenocron. With his services he installs the datalogging port and since i told him i planned on datalogging he left the j12 resistor out. With that out of the way, I bought the extreme hulog, that came with the 4 pin wire harness and I am using the moates burn2.
Ok...I can get the burner to work. I've been reading enough so I know how to determine ports and set latency to 1.
I am using crome pro version 1.6.5, pretty much settings is as follows:
plugins>enhancements>remove checksum routine
plugins>enhancements>quick datalogger+rtp
settings since im not using burner atm skip rtp tab and go to tunercomm, serial protocol scroll down to crome qd2 ( according to this link http://www.tunewithcrome.com/help/QD3.html ).
and when I try to click
detect connection...well see picture. it says the whole thing.
first picture is me showing that my burner can connect its on port 3.
second pic shows what happens when I try to detect port 4 for the xtreme hulog and the third pic shows what the settings in device manager for port 4.

Referred to a few links but mainly the xenocrone link down there. Making me frustrated, any help would be awesome.

Well you dont hit detect connection. Turn key to on but dont start. Hit live tuning. Should start logging.
Make sure you connect the logger properly in the ecu. I found for me. My black wire from the 4 wire hulog went to pin 4 not 1 in the ecu. Also my one ecu just wont log for no reason. Got a different one and all is good.
Do you hear the burner connecting to the pc?
Drivers up to date?
