chipped ECU help!!
hi, I'm having a lot of problems with my civic ls vtec turbo, no CEL sputtering and dying when press the gas.
I changed all the ignition system: dizzy, wires and plugs.
TPS, ECT and MAP sensors. (all new)
Check mech. Timing an is on spot and set ignition timing by gun.
Fuel press is steady and raise when try to rev.
Then start to measure the outputs and inputs and find some discrepancies in voltage. i.e. MAP plug disconnected d17+d21=3.89v should be 5.0v
TPS .45v at sensor plug and .39v at ECU plug.
I'm tired of throw money with out know exactly what is. Somebody tell me that with the 3.98v read at d17 means my ECU is fried, I want a second opinion to buy another one. I just want to solve this.
