Default Can I use my B16 map to start a B18C?

I'm running a DTA standalone and toasted my B16. I bought a B18C5 and have put it in the car. I was told by the tuner that I could start the car and drive it onto the trailer to take it to get tuned. The problem is that the engine will start if I hold the throttle at about 10%. But if I let off the throttle, or give it any more than 10% the engine stalls. Does this sound right, or does it sound like some sort of sensor problem?

Is it ok to run on a B16 map or should I just push it on the trailer?

Thanks for any help

your fine as long as your not trying to run 15:1 on pump gas It probably doesnt want to idle due to the injector differences.

just stay off the throttle trying to get it on. What does this setup consist of?

Its a bone stock B18C. The previous motor was a built B16 with around 11.5:1 compression but was blown during its first race due to a small cut in one of the water hoses.

The DTA is model E48. I'm running a motorcraft coil system.

Thanks for the info
