Default best timing light?

I broke my light and I am in the market for a new one. Whats the best one out there that everyone uses?

With a price tag of $399.99 I hope that you are planning on using this more than once or twice. I will agree that it is probably the best one out there.

If you are on a budget, you can look into Equus and Innova timing lights.
They both do the same job & are 1/4th the price.

Matco MTL4186 is what i use.Tachometer, digital advance.

I have a cheaper one i bought at autozone. OTC i think. Works just as well. Could be for sale if you need one. Also has Tach and digital advance.

I have and use the Snap-On light frequently. Its an ok unit. Ive had to send it out to get repaired a few times. It seems the pick-up has issues at times and I also had an issue with the buttons not working. Its all fixed for now and working. But I would think for the money the electronics could be a little better and not so unstable. Its always good to have a cheap-o back-up timing light available. Unless when yours is out for repair or broken you can get a loaner like I did.

i have the old school snap-on with the dial. It work"ed" well and now i think the bulb needs replacing. Not sure cause it just stopped working
