On most of these programs, how do you account for different injector output?

Example: The RDX injector is rated at 410 cc/hr at 38 psi, but actually will put out 510 cc/hr at 58 psi.

So, if I wanted to run the injector at 58 psi, do I have to tell the program that injector size is actually 510 cc? Are there any other things I need to adjust?

What software are you tuning with?

 

Currently EPROM, but I am also considering the AEM EMS, Series 2.

Crome.

 

You simply enter your injector size or flow rating when setting your initial fuel multiplier.
You will then tune the fuel tables from there.

 

So, in my example, I would input it as 510 cc?

 

Yes leave old injector at 240 and new injector at 510

Or

Take the entire fuel map and multiply it by .5 essentially...same thing

 

Not entirely, I believe injector size also compensates for cold start tables and cranking fuel.

Ok for S300 I KNOW it does.

 

For Crome it does not...unless you use "Fuel Tools"
