im sorry if im posting a pointless thread but im having major issues with my jdm sirii b16 in my crx, its throwing code 8 and iv replaced my distributor already, i replaced my alternator because i had low voltage which helped for about 30 min and then cel came back on and code 8 again, iv done almost everything i could to solve it and i cant i need help please.

 

It could be your "Frog Jumper" OBDO to OBD1. When i built my jumper I had the TDC wire's backwards, and got the same code the car would run, but ran rough. Just a idea.

 

The guy who owned it bfor me bought a rywire jumper harness and wen it was in the last car the cel only came on once in awhile, idk if itd b the ecu or not, its a "rich tuned" p28 ecu, idk if tht could be it

 

Well it could be possible, do you have another ecu to test with. I have a few questions?
1. Are you running the motor harness out of your car, or the that came with the motor?
2. Was your dizzy new, or used"craigslist" style?
3. Is the dizzy the one for the motor application, or is it a backyard special?
