i bought a p28 ecu, looked up the code and it is automatic!
what do i do...try and get another one or is it possible to convert it?

 

Yes it is. Remove rp18 and rp17 then jump rp18 with a 0 ohm jumper.

 

yup, do what mtber said. I've converted tonnes of auto ecus to 5spd and never had a problem. You even get a few goodies (high-side switches...2 of them) left over from the lock-up solenoid circuitry that you can use to convert non-vtec ecus to vtec ecus.

 

Well, I have a jdm eco its (p08), So do I have to remove the jumper.
And are they the same jumper for the usdm.
