Hi All,

Ive got h22a fully built running holset hx40. I have an aem ems series 1 and aem cdi module.

Car drives fine. The only issue i have is that it never starts first time, on second turn it fires up straight away. Then unless i hold the revs high it wants to cut out. Once driving if im coming to a stop and dump the clutch in the revs drop it cuts out.

From what i have read, its leading me to believe its a common problem and that when the revs drop it looses sync signal and cuts out.

Is there a solution to this? Ive been told upgrading to AEM EMS Series 2 will fix the issue. Its idle is set to 1000rpm at the mo, i was thinking about increasing this to try and see if that works.

 

This is a tuning issue and not a sync issue.
