AEM question??
Anyone here running AEM v2 with coil on plug setup? It is in a 95 Integra w/ B-series engine. Straight forward setup.
Just received my AEM v2(30-6040) back from AEM as i can not get my a/c to work with this thing. They(AEM) said they couldn't find anything wrong with my ecu and they supposedly got the a/c to work on 2 other cars there. It still doesn't work in mines!!. But the a/c works with a regular oem ecu or my Hondata ecu. Just seeing if anyone had any issues like this from AEM before.
Before the ecu was sent off, the A/C control wire only had 6 volts at all times till you try to turn on the a/c. Then it would drop to 1.6 volts. After receiving the ecu back, the a/c control wire has 12 volts and drops around 2.6 volts.. fan comes on just no voltage being sent to the a/c compressor. And i can invert the switch and the compressor will kick on!! just wont come on in a regular situation. And i have changed out the climate control switches and changed the a/c diode as well. and still no good...
Last night I set the ecu back to distributor settings and it still won't control the a/c. Using in distributor setup I'm hooking it up directly with no jumper harness. I tried it in a friends car as well and no luck. And his car is as stock as straight off show room floor.
Has anyone seen this happen before? Ideas or know how to fix this?

If AEM stated that they tested it on two of their vehicles and worked fine, why not ask them what particular cal they used?
If you are using your own cal and not a base one, there could be changes or modifications done that have got past you.

Thinking about giving the aem setup another try. But I wonder if I need to go thru ALL my chassis grounds and clean them up? And find the actual "grounding" switch wire for the a/c to latch in... Any thoughts on that??
