AEM EMS Variable valve timing
I have an AEM EMS on my track DC5 and I have a question about the variable valve timing? My friend just picked up a kPro and we were able to control the advancement of the cams at every RPM range. Also, we were able to make changes in advancement with the low lobe and high lobe of the cam. Is there tables in the EMS where we can do this as well? I think that my cam timing is locked at a specific degree... I have never made changes to the cam timing with the EMS... is it possible???
We were able to pick up some pretty good mid range power with the kPro by changing the advancement of the cam at different RPM ranges, I want to be able to do his with the AEM....

You can eather adjust your ignition map or if you go to vtec options you can only advance or retard from your set ignition map. This ignition setting will only take effect when vtec is on.
"i take it your reffering to the VTC ?
go in the sensors > variable valve timing > valve # 2
and you should get the vtc chart, there is also a graph version in the menu..
and everything is opposite... lol 50vtc is really 0 ....remember that."

Sweet! I found the table... so your saying that the numbers in the table are opposite of what the actual cam angle is??? So, if it has a value of '10' the can angle is at 40, and if the value is set at '50' the value is 0???
