Default 99 EJ help

Hey i am looking at swaping out my ecu for a neptune or hondata soon, ive been searching and searching for how to do it and nothing seems to fit, my car is a 99 si canadian, so it has the d16y8, from what i read that has an obd2 ecu and harness, so do i need to get an obd1 to obd2 conversion harness? And any recommendations on which ecu to upgrade to?

Thanks

Yes. You need a conversion harness.

Are you doing the tuning or having it tuned?

Contact your tuner first before you buy an engine management. You don't want to bring them something they don't like or don't use.

You can wire the new clips in yourself or buy plug and play conversion harness. Most places like phearable.net and Xenocron will be able to take care of you from harnesses to injectors
