Default 2step question

now before u go n say google it. i have many times n couldnt find an answer. i recently got an aem n got it tuned with 2step at 3500rpm.. what exactly are the steps to make it work? normal operating temp? in first gear completely stopped n floor it right with clutch in? just checking because it seems mine wants to work when it wants to. maybe im letting off of it thinking its not gonna work? could something have happened when he tuned it for the 2step?

note- i do not have to hold my clutch in to crank the car.

You would have to ask your tuner to know exactly how it is set up.

alright heres the pic. the black wire is the wire that was rigged up. so i was told. and if i disconnect one end of it it will crank but cut off right after. do i need to replace ignition switch or the switch and wiring harness? could this be causing my 2step not to work most of the time?

no flooring needed....as long as your speed sensors is below the adjusted speed. after that speed everything works as normal... in the case that your speed sensor fails or cuts out you will be limited to the 2step rpm

The wire was probably from a stupid Kill Switch? When you loose the Jumper Chip you have to just rip the switch off and tie the wires togather as he has done here. Had this problem on my old DA. This has absolutely NOTHING to do with your 2step.

If he set the Threshold to 3mph this means you need to basically be at a DEAD STOP for the 2step to activate. If your rolling even the slightest this could cause your ecu to think your going 5mph. The VSS doesn't have the best resolution. So just make sure your at a complete stop!!

It doesn't matter if your Clutch is engauged or not. For it to work like that you would need a Wiring Mod and I don't see why he would do that if you have a VSS. All that matters for your 2step to work is your at a DEAD STOP aka not even rolling the slightest
