aebs main stud blueprint
so i ve made it to the re assembly portion of my build and pulled the aebs main studs out and read some instructions that said they need to be blueprinted before there installed due to bearing clearance but dont give details on how to follow through any help?
No reason they should be really.
Main bolts are all the same length. The holes and threads should also be uniform.
The main studs should all be the same length.
I would clean the threads really well and see If you can't get them all the same installed height.
If for some reason you cant, a thread or 2 difference shouldn't affect the clamping force in all reality, but I would want to know why personally..
