Like i said, if you dont like drifting, then just dont post1
Who said I don't like drifting? I love drift and touge. That was not the point of my post. What I don't like is marketing the scene to acne-ridden 16 year olds, who will then proceed to buy up S13/14's and AE86's and drive them off cliffs. On the plus side, there's the whole thing with natural selection. On the downside, the cars will be destroyed.

I believe all of this is leading up to D1 here in america. after all options and mainstream did hook up to do a promo video to get things going a couple weeks back at irwindale so I would think options have somthign to do with this. I don;t think myoshi is blowing anything up rather that the japan drift circuit or whatever it is called (D1) is expanding.

I need to lean myself seplling

the thought of a pro drift racing series is kinda
I can imagine thats what domestic racers thought of import racing associations such as idrc and nira and battle.

He does what he can to make money. Get over it. [QUOTE]JDM Model Search : Who will be our new upcoming Drift Event queen
**** this stupid ****....turning drifting into a car show
[QUOTE]

Then dont go. 96% of you didnt know what "drifting" was or what "togue" was 2 years ago. You guys are following the trends. First it was JDM, then this. 99% of u were street racing 2 years ago, now u drive fast down a mountain. cool. Your getting bent out of shape about ken exploiting something that he can make money on. The "scene" and the rest of the kids that didnt know , know now. There is nothing you can do to stop that. GET OVER IT.

damn, i remember street racing was what ever, then f&tf came out, and it made a big change. alot of stunnas everywhere trying to race, and killing themself and others.
In a year or two, drifting will popular, and the stunnas will get RWD cars, and try to drift around streets, and kill themself and others..
just watch out when you drive, you might see a car doring around a corner into a pole

yup....a Pro Drifting series would never be a real competition ...because it'll have to be judged ...and we all know how that goes

there are "stunnas" at the drag strip, autocross and everything so there will be some there. Jus because they aren't pro drift champions or whatever doesn't mean they arent aloud to learn

think about it like this....at least they have the track to use and learn how instead of doing it in some neighborhood

if i lived in socal i wouldbe there in a heartbeat

you guys gotta stop hating so hard....
this is "your" scene.

things change, and this jdm, drifiting thing is in now.
why you going to stop it?
its still racing, and its still practical, and its still performance/skill...
its not just another body mod, or new gen of alezza lights...

if its popular over there in japan,.
and you drive a japanese car here.
then the trend of the "trend setters" in japan will come over here as well.
its inevitable.
it might take a while....and some of the next **** people already knew about the new trends over there already..but that goes for any hobby/interest.

so after all this hunting of option videos, and magazine of drifiting, and such...it finally comes over here commercially....and now you dont want it...
