Re: Simone - my 1996 240sx Build Thread
I can't say I got a ton of Nisei coverage or anything but honestly I could care less, I just wanted to see all of my gear head friends I haven't seen since '05.
Here is what I found of my car.
Mayday Garage creeping on the biggest creeper at the show, lol. My girlfriend thought this was hilarious.
Nisei was fun, it's like the second time ever I've waxed the car. I'll probably repaint it red in about a year or two so I haven't really been taking care of the black. It's not how I wanted the paint to come out so I'll deal for now.
Today I had the car dyno'd as I was attending my friends dyno day for ***** and giggles and said I was only going to make like 160hp. I'll let the video do the talking there.
This dude having a beast of an RB25 installed on his car, must be a marine or a cop or just had that **** on his rear window to avoid cops.
Those work equips were proper, never seen these ones before, or anyone rocking them like this.
straight beefy... jesus
This is why it's always important to make sure your timing is spot on.
This was my first baseline run, my timing was retarded like 5 degree's the guy thought my motor died hahaha I was like "timing is probably off, it's been running weird for a while since someone else adjusted the timing."
Sure enough, the car feels really cheeky now.
While 200 hp isn't impressive to most people, this motor is almost 20 years old, has never been rebuilt and made that on a t25 on 7lbs of boost.
I cannot wait until I get a new daily so I can put some beef on this ****.
putting together the beginning of wallet busting a/n fittings and hose, then off to the welder to get the fittings put on, then off to mikey to dip my ***** in it.

Simply one of the best builds I have ever seen. Great work. This sounds crazy, but I liked the car better when it had the mismatched color body panels. I don't know why, lol I guess I just have a soft spot for works in progress. Keep it up, and keep us posted.
