Rallying and drifting are my two favorite motorsports. Drifting was actually inspired from the JTCC. No need to start an entire thread for that though. That info is all over the internet. Here are a few examples:

Read the thread. These answers are here if you do some research of your own.

They're cheap, plentiful, and probably in good condition cuz most people who own them bought em new, kept them in good condition and never did any racing with them WHATSOEVER. All they need are ATM (auto-to-manual) tranny swaps, some brake & suspension work, maybe a body kit to go with the rims to get that real VIP look, and some freshening up, and you got a big body 4dr that's original cuz NOBOBY does much racing with them!

Plus they both have 32 valve V8's that can be twin turbo'd or built for N/A power. Unless you HAVE TO swap a smaller Inline 6 in it to be more like Japan. AND they can be bought at a junkyard FOR CHEAP if one ever blowsor if you need parts!

And what about BMW?! Y'all forgetting the 3 & 5 Series? The 97-01 7 Series trannies have been swapped for M3 manuals...and running on tracks (not a lot of course). If you got the bread, do it! I WOULD!!

makes me wanna turn my gs300 into a drift machine...tho shes heavy as hell it has been done before.
That's Ameen's old car. Full 2JZ/manual swap. If the bumpers weren't falling off, Ameen hadn't been drifting. There have been articles on it at Speed hunters and Motormavens... http://www.motormavens.com/2009/12/c...mx83-cressida/ He was a regular over at http://jzxproject.com/ until he had to sell the car for school.... I watched that car grow up!!!
