uh no.. I dont know who was worst, Nopi or Hot import nights..
Nothing compares to IFO Right now..as far as equal and fairness...and also prices. Nopi will likey make thousands of dollars again before anyone realizes that they are getting ripted off ...again..
This is how IFO got started, sitting around, talking about racing @ a car meet one night..because of everyone being fed up with how there aren't any good shows or races and if they are shows/races, they always take your money.

The NOPI NATIONALS will be Sept 22-23 at Atlanta Dragway. Any drag information posted by anyone must have copied data off the site from last year's NSCRA events we were involved with. NO drag info is currently available.

I never got ripped off by NOPI. I raced the entire 2003 season (Pro 4) won some money, had some fun. Never got ripped off. It was awesome. Who cares if they made money, I like money.

No offense to IFO events, but NOPI was a much bigger more professional series. One price got the car and the crew in (so it really wasn't anymore expensive than IFO charging for each of the crew members), and you were racing for good money, contingencies, etc. Rules were actually enforced, and cars were classed correctly. Hell the last IFO event I went to I had to bracket race my freaking car. Lame. I will continue to support the people that support our sport though regardless. I just hope something like NDRA or NHRA will come back and give us ALL a place to race. Not just the FWD guys.
We need another big sanctioning body again. Sport compact wise there really isn't a single sanctioning body that caters to all the sport compacts.

We miss you guys and we are still here - working on new things.
NOPI screwed us in Denver, and also the guys in Utah. But, we persevered by creating our own race on the day that NOPI should have been there. And it was highly successful. The event was happily entitled F.U.N., and yes the acronym means what you think it does. However, thanks to NOPI Bandimere is now highly cautious about other import race series like IFO. So, we get further screwed in return.
To boosted, no offense back, but sounds to me it's been years since you've actually ever competed. IFO has 7 diff classes, all but one are heads up. Of the 6 heads up, only one is FWD specific. All type cars are catered to. Racers are forced to compete in their corresponding class every event. Those found not within the rules are Bumped over, DQed, and/or banned for life.
I was upset back when nopi was at commerce right before they took off.
I had a show car and loved it but when you continue the judging in the rain that is just shitty.
I disliked that so much.
Plus then hearing from everyone about them just leaving with everyones money and sponsorship stuff just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
I will NOT give money to nopi or anything related to nopi motorsports ever again.
