I need a little help, just how much does a good lightweight drag wheel weigh?
I'm thinking 13 by 8 and 15 by 10?

Found a place that sells steel wheels for under $90 a wheel but the weights seem a little high. 13 pounds for the 13" and 18 pounds for the 15".

what size slicks do you want to run? 25's or 26's? what bolt pattern does the Neon have? i would say if you only wan to run 25's and you are 4X100 get some lensos pretty cheap and very very light, if you wanna run 26's you gotta get some 15's.

 

The plan is to test on the Lenso's and a set of very used M&H 24.5 by 8.5's. Really
think I'll wind up going to the 26's,think I'm gonna need the taller tire to keep
my revs were they need to be.

My Neon has a 4 by 100 pattern, newer cars have 5 by 100.

Exospeed has pro 4's 15x9 for 403 a piece

and drag on fly starts for 268

weld racelight for 13x8 are 245 a piece

i have never seen prices for circle racing wheels can someone chime in with those i heard they were not a wallet breaker.

 

yea those weights are high.**** my rotas in 15s are only likew 10lbs a piece. idont think ill ru them though ebcuase i cant get them wide enuff. but Bogarts are super super light.with slicks on them i think they are like 10lbs.ok maybe not 10, but deff the lightest combo i have felt yet. i just checked out 15x8's with 26x8x15's on thme and they were unbelivebly light

 

I never weighed mine, but I remember a Bogart advertisment quoting 6.25 lbs. for a Pro 4 13X8" wheel.

 

I just checked mine out, 22.5 pounds with tire 16 pound tire. Sounds like you
are right on. So the steelies are twice the weight.
