i posed this question a while ago. same diff. i am 100% sure i had a diff come out of a jdm gsr swap.

 

Take the LSD off and measure the inside diameter. This will let us determine whether it is the small or large diff. Either way, it is the JDM Viscous LSD, which was a factory option.

Type-R's use a 10-bolt Torsen LSD.

 

It looks like the same OEM LSD I had in my JDM GSR trans.

 

Yeap, this is one of those that comes in JDM GSR swaps, if I were you I would sell it and get a ITR or CTR. The GSR diff is weak structurally and breaks a lot. Also, it is one piece with the crown gear, not good...
