Default Question about JDM GSR LSD

What i wanna know is since these 2 differntials are physically different. will the JDM LSD drop right in where the USDM Diff would go? like is there any clearance issues and what not.

and also, i know i could probably search for this one, but ill just toss it in here. are the final drives the same, or would i have to swap the gear out as well?

thanks in advance

It pretty much drops in. Be sure to invest in new bearings and shims though. It uses the same final drive as the US market GSR's. I'd hold out for an ITR LSD as the GSR LSD is a viscous unit and isn't nearly as effective.
