Default what class??

We bought this chassis built by Kens kustom chassis wich is 3/4 tubular 2002 vw Golf FWD car that never ran since built and we are building it currently to be ready for late april. In NSCRA, or other events what class would this car be in.

competitive or not we want to support the sport and will drive from Canada, We did New jersey many time, ,Pittsburg and Florida all in 2009, we like going fast in a VW and like to travel, just looking for more info. Thanks

i think HotRod needs stock floor pan, so Quick16 would mostly be the class to run, unless Pro4 is still around

Toss that turbo in the garbage and it goes into Naturally Aspirated Sport Compact (pro all motor) If it were a backhalf and not 3/4 it would fit into Turbo Sport Compact, but I think you will be moved to Modified Sport Compact with the Pro FWD cars.

from what i can see in the pics depending on the way the rear suspension is setup isnt it just a matter of just welding in the factory floor to make it a hotrod car?

rear suspension is non oem set up to be independent, that`s what i need to know, this was built as a 3/4 chassis but if i weld up the front part of the oem floorpan and leave the backhalve with aluminium if that would be hotrod. but looking at some nscra drivers either class as mid 7s cars so either way like i said im in for the fun, not to be competitive in that class, i just care to be a very fast FWD vw the rest is all good.

If your using stock top hat mounting locations in some way then you're fine, just pop a stock floor plan from the B-pillar forward and come play with us!

front rear suspension is stock location so i could i just use the nhra approved thickness of .032 aluminum and do my whole floor like that instead.

HR rules are stock floor pan from B-pillar to firewall, the rest can be like my car where you can do as you please:

However I'm not sure who would really complain, I know I don't really care. But if you wanted to run comp, or if people enforce stock floor rules you'll have to answer to them.

i think ill just do what we intended to do and when we show up if we are in a class with low 7s cars or mid 7s cars won`t matter much i guess.
