Default weight reduction

Ok i have a 95 gsr and i was wondering what all i would have to do to get it down to about 2000 pounds. What can i take off to lose the most weight.

wow, 2000lbs would be lots of work. I can't even imagine what you'd have to do to lose 5-600 lbs

Depends if you're trying to keep the car within certain class rules.

cross drill the ECU and connecting rods, dont use coolant or oil, run the motor dry, rmove the insulation from sparg plugs, dont run a valve cover, since motor is dry forget about it splashing, replace all windows with a sheet of saran wrap. remove all interior and sit on milk crate, dont foeget to add speed oles to body, just take a drill and go nuts, wont pass tech though if not done in a creative fashion....what else have i forgot.
oh yeah remove steering wheel and replace with vise grip pliers.
most importantly do an archive search.

unplug the wiring harness . take axles out, unbolt the motor mounts. take that engine and put it into a 1988 crx hf and there u go , u weigh under 2000 pounds

JDMdan on this site has a 96 DC that weighs 2049 lbs including an 8 point roll cage.

There are two ways to look at weight reduction.... the ghetto way and the expensive way.. Class rules usually make you go towards the expensive way. Start by getting rid of everything you don't need. Then analyze whats left and think about replacing fat parts w/ lean parts. It's pretty easy actually, just use your brain and do some searching to get the ball rollin'.
