Default VTEC launching techniques

Sup fellas.
I took my lude to the track today.

New setup-h22a w/m2b4 tranny (lsd)

For some reason, I could not get traction to save my life.

I had the front tires set at 22psi.

I tried launching around 4000 and quick feathering the clutch
first and I got wheel spin even with the lsd.

So then I tried launching around 33-3500 and it didn't spin as much
but I still managed to get a high 2.3 60ft wtf

I could get better 60fts with my h23.

The car doesn't bog wherever I launch it at.

I had solid rt's from .085 to .200 so I know that's not the problem.

I tried launching higher around 5k and the tires spun like crazy
so I would let off the gas a little till I got traction then I would punch it
after that.

Finally when I did catch traction it wheel hopped on me a few of the
times I ran it.

I'm shifting around 7400-7500 rpm's into second with clean shifts
so I don't think that's the problem.

The track is pretty notorious for lack of traction but the ls1-lt1 guys were
hitting their 1.7-1.8 60fts so I can't really blame it on the track.

I have all season tires on my car for now but I need to invest in a better set.

I'm just a little dissapointed in this tranny, I was expecting to be hitting
low 2.2 high 2.1 60fts and it just wasn't happening.

So anybody have any tips on how i can get this **** to hook?

make sure the Vtec is Kickin in at the right time.

JK first of all on all season tyres you shouldnt lower you tyre pressure, just keep them at the required psi. The best way to launch a FWD car is loading the clutch a lil or slipping the clutch so that you get enough spin that it dosent bog...(i guess not possible with your tyres) You want the tyres to slip gently while you are builing speed gradually. This way you dont shock the tyres and loose traction. If your clutch is slippable keep practicing maybe even feathering the gas.... I prefer the slip clutch method myself dont just dump the clutch. Finally experiment with different RPM;s.....good luck.
