I have a '91 civic with a Sparco harness, no rollcage. I need to find safe mounting points. As of now, the lap/shoulder straps are bolted behind the seat to the floorboard. Any suggestions on where to properly bolt a 4pt to, in a '91 civic without a rollbar? Thanks.

Exactly. You're worse off with the shoulder harness and no roll bar, than with the stock belts. If you're strapped in with a shoulder harness and you roll the car without a roll bar, you've got NO chance. The roof will come down to meet your head, while you're stuck upright in the seat.
At least, that's what my sources tell me...............

Also, if there is no roof crush, with the harness on the floor, when you hit the straps it will try to drive your shoulders thru the floor with compression fractures of vertabrae and herniated disks.
As others have said the harness without the cage is not a good idea, but you want the shoulder harness near horizontal to keep from compressing the spine on a frontal.
