U.S. Army World Cup Finals Nov 7-8, 2009 **Site Updated**
The U.S. Army World Cup Finals (Import vs Domestic) just got even BIGGER!!!
The 2009 U.S. Army World Cup Finals Site is now updated with information and 2009 rules. Check out the link at http://www.mirworldcupfinals.com
The event is now a 2-Day event, and we have added the Outlaw Drag Radial class, and added Outlaw 10.5" to the event (in which the Compact Modified class will be running in Outlaw 10.5" with bigger tires). We have also added A/Stick ET (a manual transmission bracket class, so stick cars dont have to bracket race against automatic cars).
We will have 3 qualifying sessions on Saturday and one final qualifying shot on Sunday & Eliminations. The car show and bikini contest will be on Sunday only (Sunday will be the bigger crowd day). Saturday will be more racer qualifying and ET Time runs.
Help spread the word and feel free to use these flyers on your own websites, facebooks, myspace pages, or e-lists. Any and all help to spread the word is appreciated very much.
Anyone interested as a class sponsor or associate sponsor or vendor spot, please contact Jason Miller at 301-884-9833 or email at jmiller@mirdrag.com

The U.S. Army has planned the "Golden Nights" paratrooper team and the F18 Flight simulators (18-wheeler brings them in), to be set-up at the event with their normal video game Hummers, rock climb walls, etc.. in their display. The army is funding a HUGE media buy to help promote the event further. Help me promote fellas and hopefully I can land a TV deal for this event this year or next year.

I like slicks in True Street, no turbo upgrade for me this year. This is the only race I plan to make this year. I missed it the last two years because the car broke at other events and I couldn't get it fixed in time.
Thank you Jason for all your hard work and time helping to keep import racing alive

best race of the year!
biggest race of the year and most organized too! i think all hell would break loose if an event this size took place at some of the other tracks!

I just bought the domains
importvsdomestic.com
importsvsdomestics.com
importversusdomestic.com
importsversusdomestics.com
They all will point to mirworldcupfinals.com
and I plan to change the final destination to just importvsdomestic.com that all the URL's above will redirect to importvsdomestic.com
Its easier to remember that way for people. I will have mirworldcupfinals.com redirect also to importvsdomestic.com also

Those that are coming from far away better make hotel reservations now. Hotels are filling up already. Called today and most are half full. This is the super bowl of drag racing.

Jason- am I reading this right?
All Motor Street rules
Tires (RWD cars):
Any size DOT radial tire permitted. Maximum size DOT Bias Ply or Slick is 26.0” x 10.5”.
Now the mustangs are allowed to run slicks??????????

Yes. There are only a few "Factory Stock" class cars that can make their cars hook like Tommy Godfrey and Justin Burcham. Thats why they were the only two domestics that had a decent showing. The slicks will enable a few more domestics to hopefully make some low 11 sec passes. Trying to make this a competitive class for imports vs domestics and not have the imports 2 or 3 tenths ahead. Starting a new thread on All-Motor Street for World Cup, will carry on convo there.
