Sorry to not answer your questions, but what pressure and HP are you looking to make? What fuel and what injectors?

I've ran 044's in parallel at 80 psi base and 117 total psi with no pressure loss.

yeah you will need a shitload of pressure then.

It would be cheaper to get the ID2000cc before the dyno, tune it once.

ID 2000cc, 4 bar base, and 2x 044's in parallel will do that power easily.

So far my favorite thing to use with the 044's is this surge tank. I wish I had one of these years ago. lol

We've been running surge tanks for years.... can't believe you guys put up with that sumped tank BS for so long.

Now I wish that Bosch would just make an "088" pump, LOL.

Wouldnt he need to run a sumped or surge tank? I know you can make 700whp on Walbro 255 intank with bosch 044 single on gas

The sumped oem tank or external surge tank is to ensure a steady supply of fuel to the pressure pump. I prefer the surge tank because you can run the oem tank with far less fuel in it and still not run into supply issues.

x2. I made 693 with Walbro feeding a single 044 and then thru ID1000's. Was almost getting maxxed out.

What was maxing out first? Seems to be those ID1000's would first as I would assume the duty cylce was anywhere from 90-100%

Curious to know as well! 693 with a Walbro/Bosch 044 with ID1000's is pretty damn good! I assume you had a pretty high base pressure?
