Default Turbo Upgrade

Anybody know what a good turbo would be, that is divided to upgrade my t4/t67 without going crazy. The only people that have a 70 or 72 that would fit in the general dimensions is a turbonetics and i am NOT running one of those. Please consider the likeness of the dimensions before answering.

What's crazy to you?

An S366XL would be a great start if you don't want an S372. (That's what I think you mean by crazy right?)

However, I'm not sure the exact differences there. But so many people just step right up to the S372 so not much data out there. I know Ben made a lot on the S366XL though.

sorry my wording was kinda retarded, an s374 wouldn't be crazy to me, what i really mean is without going to a large frame. the s366xl is a large frame(i dont know if the standard s366 is but im not sure of it making 700-750 efficiently). Thats the problem, i wanna go for a little more but don't want to change my manifold if possible. It hangs a little low and I want to avoid a scavenge pump.

Right on, what power are you making now? Perhaps the S372 wouldn't be so bad for ya then, need a liberty to go with that?

Theres a bunch of small frame turbo that will fit your needs. Precision had a great selection of the smaller housings. The 366 will make over 700whp also. I even think that BW makes a t3/70 so I sure they have something in the t4 frame.

im using a custom manifold, im pretty sure that switching to an s372 will hang it to low. I need to find a gt42 for mock up to see.

I make about 670 at 34 psi right now. I need a larger housing, i have a 1.00 t4t67 at this point. Precision does not have a turbo with a divided housing for whatever reason.

I made 675whp at 30psi with a .68 hot side on a PT67....

Get the 372 or buy my GT42r for the same price.

you know how engines can differ!!

If i get a large frame im going to have to change my manifold and everything. It will hang to low, its still not out of the question because i have about 3 months to get it all figured out.

Try one of the new Forced Performance turbos. The dsm and evo guys are loving these things and making very impressive power. They are still small frame yet make big power and support alot of boost, like 40 psi.

That comparison is apples to oranges. Turbos that work on DSM's don't work as well on Hondas and vice versa. I would go with what's known to work...Personally i would pick either the S366XL or the S372

The whole point is that he cannot run a 42r sized compressor housing. I believe that bullseye actually does offer an 8" compressor cover as an option for the 372. Hit up Boostedjeff to learn more!

the 366 and 366XL would be a good upgrade, but i think the 368 would fit in your engine bay with your manifold setup matt.

the 366XL is the same physical size as the 366, i had the 366 on my car this past weekend as we pulled off the 372 earlier in the week.

I will say that a plain jane t3 366 WILL make 50psi off boost, it made 42psi by 6500 woops

i made 714 on T3 366 and went 10.02@149.5 this was at 30-32psi of boost on an s200 hondata setup!

i have a full-race t4/t67 with a divided .82 hotside

how is the xl the same size? the s366xl is a large frame same frame as the s372. the s366 is a t4 frame the center cartridge and all is smaller. I need to find a gt42 or something to find out how big i can go before i have to change ****.

the 366 is smaller than the xl. the xl was made to use to nopi powerstreet. correct? it was made just for a certain class of competition...and its the same size as the regular 372

im amazed at how hard it is to find pics of different angles of these turbos and how sites always have random images to represent turbos. It not like i can go and just borrow one to see if it fits LOL. basically with my t4/t67 with a 1.0 housing...my oil drain is pretty much flat. Thats what im worried about. If i got an s368, would it hang the drain to low and make me get a scavenge pump.

How do you know these turbos wont work well for what he wants? Have you seen these turbos on hondas lately? I havent, especially since these are relatively new turbos.
