Default Track today

My first visit with intake/exhaust(2.5 with a restrictive resonator) was a 15.0@97

My second visit with same mods plus weight reduction and dr's was 14.1@99

Now for todays times..Well with intake, header, exhaust, velocity stack, vafc and a computer( that the vafc is being used to richen it up).

60ft 2.511(having to get in and out of it at the launch)
330ft 6.309
1/8 9.334
mph 81.69
1/4 14.144
mph 104.01

60ft 2.316(held it down and just went spinning)
330ft .....
1/8 9.109
mph 81.70
1/4 13.917
mph 103.98

60ft 2.333( spinning and letting off)
330ft 6.114
1/8 9.135
mph 81.66
1/4 13.950
mph 101.47

60ft 2.255(spinning again and tried to feather it)
330ft 6.023
1/8 9.066
mph 81.43
1/4 13.884
mph 101.67

60ft 2.228( again spinning and trying to get it to hook)
330ft 5.961
1/8 8.981
mph 81.93
1/4 13.773
mph 101.84

I need to drop the pressure in the dr's some more and get the launch down.

No know they are.. already look for some fat fives to put some slicks on.
I'm trying to see what I can do on radials. Next visit less air pressure and a burn out to heat them up.

2nd or 3rd gear burnout, 12psi in the radials, preload and launch at 6500rpm or so. On my 3rd pass in a car I've never driven before, I did a 1.94 60' on radials which I was happy with because prior to preloading, I couldn't anything better than a 2.0 60'. 13.50 @ 101mph. so the power level is similiar.

I can get consistent 1.9's and 1.8's on BFG's. It's all in heating them up in 2nd gear and some footwork off the line and you will see the ETs' go down. I must say if you feel the car wheel hop, just push the clutch in unless you like buying and swapping transmissions.

my suspension suck on my hatch, and thats something that i currently want to work on. So putting in the clutch is better than letting off the gas and then getting back into it? My best was 13.9 @103 on some 185/60R14 all season tires w/ a 2.3 60' Wheel hopping like no other and geting in and out of the gas...
