Default Tire selection

Need some advice on tire type and size. I have a 95 ls in the process of putting a 75 shot on the car it is just a simple intake header exhaust and zex kit and will be tuned on Neptune which I'm hoping to make around 220 hp and I'm hoping to see 12.80s. I just wanted some advice on what tire along with some seat time will ibest benifit my setup and allow me to be able to see some consistant times . I was looking at a set of G-force T/A drag radials 205/50/15 and a set of MH 8 x22.0-13 slicks please chime in with recomendations .

Sounds like you have the right idea. I was going to go with 22" slicks but with me stepping up the hp to 300ish I went with M&H 23/8.5-15. My street setup are Dunlop z1 star specs 205/50/15 which have been awesome tires in dry and wet. They have had good wear as well.

Summit was the best price until I found this discount code. Summit is also known for not sending matching sets from what I have heard.
I just got a 16% discount on MandHtires.com by using a discount code: DAKOTA-DURANGO.COM from 2007.

I would go with 23 for your setup on slicks. The day to day those should be fine

When it comes to you I would go to 24's and if you can get an smaller rim which would benefit you more also than running on 15's you currently have right now.
