if you want a beneficial reply, you should specify a fuel and a few details about the build...

Just a generalized question. Those who answer can add. Just mention if your on gas, meth,e85 or what. I know everyones thinking is differant. I guess my main question would be is, and this may sound odd, but who has ran there timing back the furthest, with good results? I know of some that are back as far as 12 degree's at 55psi out the back door and is anyone back farther than that?

Might want to add what ecu and trigger setup you're using as well. And then keep throwing darts at the board.

Taking advise for timing on the internet is stupid...... Ever car can be different. Not all ECU, Triggers, Fuel, Weight, Cam, CR, Stroke and Gearing are the same....

There a car that i play with that runs as low as 11 degrees @ 30psi, but thats what the car WANTS... My car would not even run at 11 degrees lol.

Its just something ive wondered as far as the differant make and models are concerned. Not try to start any kind of debate, but ive been quicker than probably 75 percent of the racers here. Below is a picture of my car from Rockingham last year, Two weeks before barrel rolling it down the track breaking my back, neck and dislocating my sholder... So in other words im not looking for advice just wondering what other engine designs like.

This perticular pass was 8.22 on only the cars 30th pass, and had never been on a dyno, track tuned

The OP wasn't asking for advise. It is a legit question. I run low 20degrees@30psi on E85. 2.0l, 9.3 compression, low overlap turbo cam.

aem s1 on an epm been tuning my self since forever i just look at the plugs never been past 30psi but the 50 psi has me curious. and i have seen some 2jz tunes and evo tunes like 5 degrees of timing,it doesn't seem right. is every motor THAT different? or are us honda guys ahead of the game?
