Re: Super True Street Supra Matt Lennen
Ricky...Matt's right i was going off their rules...Hell if it had a glide this car would be going 8.10's you can bet every penny on that. Matt....lets give ATI a call for WCF's lol....And take out 350lbs.
Ricky come on by we will happily jack the car up and show you it's a factory built A340 tranny.
If someone actually purpose built a Supra according to the rules you could see a solid low 8 second car. 3200lbs, 950whp, Th400 or glide. 71mm turbo, is capable of 160mph an 1.35ish 60fts EASY. But Matt builds his car to easily fit into many of the NSCRA, IFO, MIR event, Etown based rules that are similar to " True Street " and i promise you his turbo is a off the shelf non-clipped down unit.

Re: Super True Street Supra Matt Lennen
Just come by we will be happy show you all anything. It's even got a hot side of .81 it's no big turbo it's small and in the line up of turbo's supra's use it's extremely small compared to a 9135. Lol Ricky trust me it's not a Glide. I honestly think the car would be sluggish an slower with a Glide seeing how you need atleast 1200hp with a 6 cylinder to push a glide into the low 8's. Carter doesn't even use a glide an go's mid 7's at 3300lbs. ( given he makes close to 2,000hp )

Re: Super True Street Supra Matt Lennen
I'm not trying to start $hit because I thought it was a factory auto as well but in the video I only heard one shift and on a factory auto the stall seems high.
Look forward to seeing the car run this weekend.

Re: Super True Street Supra Matt Lennen
yep...a modded factory auto. i bet not 1 guy comes to even look. we will have 2 jack stands ready to lift the car at any given moment. guys there's nothing to worry about there's plenty of cars in the class that are more then capable of the same times. just race and see what happens.

Re: Super True Street Supra Matt Lennen
not saying anyone cares - but for what its worth, a 26" tire on a supra is not a "big tire" for the car, its the smallest tire anyone runs

Re: Super True Street Supra Matt Lennen
yes a fwd can go just as fast in ts trim, but with the rules the rwd cars have i think they can go alot faster than a 9.0
