sunoco maximal 116?
anyone use this fuel? the local track just signed a contract with sunoco instead of vp. i can get c16 as well, but just wanted to see if anyone has used this sunoco stuff.
I have had great results from Sunoco fuels and it is one of the easier ones for me to get locally so I llike their fuel personally quite a bit.
VP is great too, cant go wrong there either but I have nothing bad to say about Sunoco and their prices seem a bit lower than VP here but that could be cause its not as available, freight costs, etc.

the vp guy by my way wants 855$ for a 55 gallon barrel for 116 q or regular rocket brand 118 is 574$ 55gal sunoco 116nos 547$ 55gal I'm pretty positive I'm not running any vp this year
We've had zero issues with the maximal 116 either.
800+ hp b-series here. A lot of my customers are making the switch to Q16 to make more power though. I'm saving my pennies and using regular non oxygenated gas.

vp c16 is 700 a drum here and the sunoco 116 is 680 a drum.
rockett is no longer available in the nw unless you buy 4 drums at a time.
i just ran out of rockett 118, that stuff burned very weird, lots of condensation it seemed like.
what have you been running Graig?
I have run their 112 never really the 116 but I know that my local fuel prices have droped quite a bit too since last year and they are hoping to see another one possibly. I think last time I heard, its was right near 350.xx for a 55 gallon drum of 112.
